Not Worth It

Took me long enough to realise.

Sh*t Happens

I have this theory: A motorcyclist, in one way or another, due to carelessness; other people; environmental factors; or a combination of these, will sooner or later, lose his/her balance when riding and kiss the tarmac/dust.
And even from most movies that have people riding the two-wheelers in it, these people will fall (think Batman, Terminator, [...]

Ghosts

I’ve had the strangest few days. Old ghosts haunting once again.

Spring Cleaning

With it being April and all, I guess this is the most appropriate time to do a bit of spring cleaning, even if it’s only for this modest blog of mine.

With the intention of a fresh start, I switched to a new theme, the 281 by Paul Stamatiou and Neil Patel. Of late, I have [...]

run!

I have always been interested in road running ever since the compulsory merentas desa (cross country) days in primary school. If there was a run organised in my hometown (or anywhere my dad would be willing to drive us to), you can almost be certain I was in the crowd, striding my ass off. I’ve [...]

The list, you’re on it.

Being inspired is one of the best feelings in the world.
Then reality sets in. Dread creeps in too. There are big shoes to fill and obscure footsteps to follow.
I know where I want to be though, at least roughly. Too idealistic? Maybe. Delusional? I don’t know.
I found the old, fragile map that [...]

revelation

There are walls I need to break.

Have I forgotten my own wedding?

Admittedly, I was left perplexed for a good couple of minutes the first time I saw the page the link above took me to. ‘What madness is this?’ and ‘When did this happened?’ certainly came to mind. Am I a victim of a major identity theft that can only be seen in the movies?

Overheard in Dublin

At a bus stop
Z: You know you’ve been here for way too long when you have a favourite bus.
Somewhere
H: Ko bagi aku sejuta pun aku tak ingin kawin dengan ko tau tak!
Somewhere else
K: Girl, you’re so sweet, you might give me diabetes.

A Lil’ Story That Must Be Told: Buying Groceries

Join me in one of my weekly chore, buying groceries. We’ll take the bus to the supermarket, then we’re off to the halal store to buy some poultry and some other stuff.

How To Change Your Old Bus Tickets To A New One

I have class tomorrow and I forgot to buy a new bus pass. Fret not, there’s always David Blaine to the rescue.

OK. Now back to the books!

r a w a k

The phone is starting to make buzzing noises. While it is a pity to see it render nonfunctional, that’s not my main concern. I’m more worried that it’ll blow up when I’m sleeping and scar my delicate complexion. Or maybe it will explode in my pants.
Watched the Spurs vs Man Utd game just now. We [...]

Ordinary

Alhamdulillah.
It has been a good new year so far.
Making new friends. Acquaintances becoming friends. Friends becoming buddies. Friend becoming lover (scrap that one)
I certainly hope I didn’t make any enemies though.
I have been occupied with so many things that I want to do (that includes studying, thankfully), it’s exhilarating. Been playing semi-competitive football, reading [...]
